I can never sleep at home, so I’m trying to pass the time by job-searching. It’s just depressing. It’s difficult to find anything available that meets all my criteria:
- I actually meet all the qualifications.
- Somehow related to law/government/politics.
- Would not force me to get a second job because it pays less than my current part-time job.
- Is in the Phoenix area.
I know a lot of non-profit/government jobs aren’t hiring right now, and it’s hard to get people to give my resume any consideration since I can’t start until July 2009 (and several replies have been “You’re located in Illinois; you realize this position is in Phoenix and would require you to relocate, correct?”). It’s frustrating.
