The entire point of getting my insurance switched yesterday was so I could devote my afternoon to the DMV and get my license AND registration done in one day. Well, first the insurance company sent me the wrong card - I didn’t notice until today that it said North Carolina and not Arizona. So even though the DMV is less than ten minutes from my apartment, I had to drive the opposite way to get to a fax machine. After the automatic phone menu didn’t recognize my phone number, it kicked me back to an actual person, who allegedly faxed my insurance card over thirty minutes ago. Well, it still hasn’t shown up and the DMV closes in an hour…is there any point to trying to get it done today?
